Cunard extends pause of operations until July 31 2020, and 2020 Alaska season.
Since we originally announced our pause in operations, the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation has evolved further still. Many governments around the world have implemented increasingly strict and decisive measures to ensure the safety of their citizens.
Expanding travel restrictions, extended closures of ports and limited air travel have continued to impact us and the travel industry as a whole. We anticipate that this will continue, for some time to come.

We are therefore further extending our pause in operations for all sailings on Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria departing up to and including July 31, 2020. For Queen Elizabeth, maintaining a shorter summer season in Alaska would unfortunately not have made these voyages viable, so we are taking a practical decision to cancel her entire Alaska season and all departures up to and including September 8, 2020.

Future Cruise Credits
All guests with a voyage booked up to and including July 31, 2020 on Queen Mary 2 or Queen Victoria and September 8, 2020 on Queen Elizabeth will automatically receive 125% of the incurred cancelation fee as a Future Cruise Credit (FCC). The FCC can be redeemed on any voyage sailing before the end of March 2022, and will be fully commissionable. All we ask is that your client makes the booking by the end of December 2021.
Any FCC that has been created because of COVID-19 CAN be used:
1. By guests on a future new booking (as standard).
2. By the guest to upgrade an existing booking to a higher meta or upgraded fare type.
3. Split across multiple future bookings.
4. Used against a voyage booking where the guest ALREADY has a live booking and wishes to book ANOTHER stateroom for a friend or family member.
